DescriptionThis archive series consists of one issue of The Open Boat dated 24 February 1940, and four issues of the Sydney Flying Squadron, dated 29 November 1941, 20 November 1943, 15 January 1944 and 26 February 1944.
The Open Boat was a newsletter printed weekly during the yacht racing season, which included notices of races and sailing news, and was succeeded in September 1940 by The Squadron Leader, which later became the Sydney Flying Squadron.
