DescriptionA giant ass's ear shell normally found in Queensland. This shell has one value of a two valve shell. Oval shaped with five perforations on the side forming a line the exterior is rough with a white mother of pearl like colouring and deep orange boarders.
The interior is a mother of pearl like colouring with pink, green and blue. This object was displayed on shelf F, bottom centre of cabinet (00037940) and was collected by Mrs Violet Pratten while living at Palm Beach, NSW.
