HistoryDesigned by Walter Reeks THELMA was built in Balmain in 1889 by George Ellis. The yacht was registered in Sydney by Alexander MacCormick in1893. it was sold to Sir Charles Lloyd Jones in 1908. In 1909 it was wrecked on a reef off Middlehead during a race with SAYONARA and its crew had to be rescued. The yacht never recovered and was broken up in 1913.
