HistoryMV CHESHIRE built in 1927 for the Bibby Line, Liverpool. In 1939 it was commisioned as an Armed Merchant Cruise HMS CHESHIRE, in 1943 was converted to a troop ship, it was returned to Bibby Line in 1948. From 1948 to 1953 it was used as an Australian emigrant ship. From 1953 it was used as a troopship for the Korean War until it was scrapped in 1957.
