DescriptionDiary kept by P Athey of a voyage from Australia to Singapore. Diary entries start on 11 August 1953 and describe the voyage from Australia to Singapore. The last page is dated 24 May and describes the active volcano at Komha smoking visibly from the vessel, and that the "picture tonight - [was a] dreadful show". This page also contains an entry for 25 May describing the "seas as rough, played shuffle board and won, played quoits and lost".
