DescriptionLieutenant Hubert Edward Carse RANVR was in command of HMAS ALATNA from its commissioning in Sydney on 2 February 1944 to 10 March 1944 when command was transferred to Sub Lieutenant William McLeod RANVR in Darwin during WWII.
