DescriptionThis centre bit consists of a flat nose with one half bent upwards to form a cutter, almost at right angles to the axis of the bit, the other half is prolonged downwards on the outside edge to form a sharp spur/cutter or nicker with a spike or screw lead and is used for boring clean and comparatively wide and shallow holes.
