DescriptionBlack open neck jumper belonging to Seaman Jeffrey Arnold who served on HMAS VAMPIRE. Jumper is made from a coarse fabric and was part of the winter rig of an ordinary seaman.
Identical patch 'Australia' in red stitch on each arm. On the right arm is the patch signifying the sailor's rank, that is, a red propeller, with 'P' beneath it, showing he works in the engine rooms power.
