Descriptionhis dugout canoe has been carved from the trunk of a eucalypt tree. The central area of the canoe's interior is painted black. The bow and the stern are painted yellow. These sections are visually separated from the central black section by a ribbon of white paint. Corresponding decorative panels, located on the outer edge of the canoe, at the stern and the bow, feature multiple narrow horizontal bands rendered in black, red, yellow and white acrylic paint. The central section of the canoe is decorated with significantly wider horizontal bands. The first band accommodates a saw tooth design, and the following two bands create an arrow-head design. This central section is painted in traditional and naturally occurring colours. A handle made from bush fibre is attached to the bow and stern via two bored holes.
