DescriptionA French Admiral's bicorn hat made from black beaver pelt. It is highly decorated with metal thread embroidery and cords attached by gilt buttons. A tricolour cockade of France is attached towards the front and a black feather trim runs down the centre. THe interior is lined in silk and features the makers name of "Maison Fauquet Edouard Nicolas sr Rue Turbigo 11 Paris".
