DescriptionA certificate of service in the Royal Australian Navy for Leading Seaman Wilfred William Boshier. The certifcate lists Boshier’s naval service over the period 1922 - 1945 .HistoryWilfred William Boshier was born on 29 April 1896 in Reading, Berkshire, England. He joined the Royal Navy on 29 April 1914 and was loaned to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) in December 1920. Boshier transferred to the RAN in March 1922 and qualified as a naval diver in April 1923. Boshier was wounded in action in World War II in October 1944 and died on 19 June 1947.
Leading Seaman Boshier served in the following RAN establishments and ships: CERBERUS, PLATYPUS, ALBATROSS, MELBOURNE, MALLOW, SYDNEY, CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA, BRISBANE, ADELAIDE, PERTH, and BUNGAREE.
