DescriptionCarbon copy of a handwritten letter to James (Macken or Smith) from Mark Foy in London. Teh letter begins 'First let me hope that the trouble is over with the little baby'. Topics include impressions of the English and of London, which is compared unfavourably with Melbourne and details of the 1/2 rater DAISY, with notes and diagrams, which Foy bought in London and was shipping back to Australia. 'The fact is James she is simply a racing machine'. Also included is a sketch of a labyrinth of mirrored glass which Foy encountered in London - 'Such an idea fitted up in some spare part of the shop would cause great fun to customers'.
