BiographyPierre-Frederick Lehnert (1811-?) was an artist and lithographer in mid-nineteenth century France. Lehnert mainly worked as a lithographer, notably reproducing classical paintings as lithographs, as well as caricatures and cartoons. He worked alongside renowned French artists in the production of Francois-Edmond Pâris' 1841-1843 Essai sur la construction navale des peuples extra-européens or Essay on non-European naval architecture. Lehnert is credited as lithographer in six of the 132 plates.
