August Berard

BiographyAugust Berard was part of the crew on Louis de Freycinet's research expedition on the URANIE during 1817 - 1820. Although he is referred to by Jacques Arago in his work "Narrative of a Voyage Round the World" as a midshipman, Berard was clearly also a talented draftsman who contributred to body of work collected at the end of the voyage.
