BiographyHenry Marsh was a composer, publisher and pianist in Sydney, who had reached popularity during the 1850s and 1860s. By 1851, Marsh had founded a music publishing business, Henry Marsh and Company. Aside from publishing music, his company also published the Sydney Illustrated News in the mid-1850s. Evidence suggests that Marsh was publishing until the early 1860s. The last known record of him notes that Marsh was a professor of music until 1873.
