BiographyCribb worked out of Southsea, Hampshire, England from the turn of the 20th century for many decades. With Southsea being on the Solent and so close to the naval activities of Portsmouth he had the perfect opportunity to photograph all varieties of nautical scenes. He is noted for his postcards of naval ships, dockyards and divers. He was born in about 1876 and died in 1963. In 1893 he started working for the photographic studio Mills in the Arcade; in 1904 he opened his own studio at 61 St Andrew's Road.
