BiographyAndrew J. Steel is a New Zealand contemporary artist who focuses on the art of storytelling, his practice influenced by experiences in his personal life. Steel's artistic career began as one half of the street art duo 'BMD', later separating to pursue a solo career in 2015. His work covers the mediums of public art, private interiors, fine artwork, letterpress, body and digital works, and has appeared across spaces in New Zealand, Australia, United States, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Iceland.
