Photographers and postcard publishers. 1851 J. Valentine & Sons formed in Dundee. First Royal commission 1866, Royal Warrant obtained 1867. In 1900 it switched from a partnership to a proprietry limited company opening branches overseas. In 1908 it started publishing Real Photo postcards.
