Radfords Crown China1879 - 1957

'Radford's Crown China' was one of several lines of china plates, cups and saucers developed by renowned English china manufacturer Samuel Radford (Ltd). Originating from Staffordshire, Radford initially set up his business in Longton in 1879, before moving to Fenton in 1885. After about 1913 the firm developed a new pottery mark called 'Radfordian' and produced at least ten different pottery marks. The firm went out of business in 1957.
