BiographyMr Herbert Edward Young was the owner of Young's Maritime Museum in Sydney, and a collector of maritime records and artifacts. He gave his collection to the Australian Government to hold pending the foundation of a maritime museum. In 1986 the collection was transferred from the Department of Transport to the Australian National Maritime Museum.
