BiographyThis material was collected by Gerry Roger and relates to the last voyage of the PASSAT in 1949. The PASSAT was one of the erikson fleet of windjammers which sailed from Australia to Europe carrying wheat 1920s-1949.

The collection is comprised of Gerry Rodger's log of the voyage, notes he made about the voyage and newspaper clippings he collected.

This collection is significant in providing a first - hand account of the experiences upon the last of the grain ships.
