BiographySándor Légrády (1906-1987) studied at the Academy of Applied Arts and at the Decorative Painting Department of the Faculty of Glass Painting at the Budapest School of Applied Drawing. In 1929 he became a graphic artist at the printers Állami Nyomda, where he designed postage stamps and securities. His first stamp was issued in 1932.
