Established by 1956, Helco Swim & Sportswear was a subsidiary of Heller & Co Pty Ltd, Sydney. In the Cumberland Argus 26 sept 1956 Frank Heller & Co of 445 Church st Parramatta advertised Helco plastic rainwear and children's swim and play suits on dipslay at the Gollan pavilion.
