BiographyRichard-Ginori was formed after the incorportion of two Italian ceramic producing companies, Ginori and the Società Ceramica Richard of Milan in 1896. Gio Ponti served as artistic director from 1923 to 1930, producing many designs in the Art Deco manner. He was succeeded by Giovanni Gariboldi, 1930-1970.
