BiographyMarcus Campbell was a classically trained British artist. He worked as an art director for Lord & Thomas Advertising in Paris and for J. Walter Thomson in London. In the 1950's he created posters mainly for consumer goods, including Coca-Cola among others. His illustration style from the 1950's is direct with bold swaths of color that seem to predict the pop art movement of the 1960's
