DescriptionThis archive series consists of material collected by Mr Brian Sulda relating to his immigration to Australia from Czechoslovakia in 1950 on the vessel USNS GENERAL R L HOWZE. It includes photographs of the ship, a certificate of identity issued by the International Refugee Organisation, daily news sheets issued to passengers, crossing the line certificate and Mr Sulda's account of his migration to Australia written in 1989.
