DescriptionModel of the Oy Svea Line vessel MS SVEABORG.HistorySVEABORG was built as the FINNPARTNER (her sister ship was Finnhansa) in 1966 for Finnlines for the route Helsinki-Slite/Nynäshamn-Karlskrona-Lübeck service.
In it was renamed SVEABORG for the Trave-Line service Helsingborg-Copenhagen-Trävemünde. Sold again in 1972 SVEABORG became PEER GYNT and chartered to Aarhus-Oslo Line. The following year she was sold to Stena Line AB and renamed STENA BALTICA for use as an accommodation ship for North Sea oil workers.
In 1982, the vessel was sold for Greek service between Rhodes-Piraeus as the IALYSSOS.
