DescriptionThis archive series numbered [001] - [045] consists of material relating to the design and construction of 14-foot Arrow catamarans, the Victorian Arrow Catamaran Association and Victorian Catamaran Class Council. The material was donated by Roy Martin, the designer of MISS NYLEX which was the first C-Class catamaran to defend the Little America's Cup using a solid wing sail. It includes three brochures for the Arrow 14-foot catamaran; an advertisement in Sailcraft Australia for the Arrow 14 kit; stages 1- 9 building instructions; 13 diagrams of for the construction of Arrow; 24 design and construction notes; 14 letters to and from the Victorian Arrow Catamaran Council and Victorian Yachting Council; three newsletters; three receipts; Victorian Catamaran Class Council president reports, receipts and expenditure and membership forms; two drawings; a sticker; meeting notices; and 20 other miscellaneous documents.
