DescriptionA long-handled, wedge type axe with two distinctive dimples on either side of the blade (and on the top and bottom of blade,) which helps release the blade from the wood once it has been struck. The top of the handle near the blade has damage, probably from the impact of striking. The handle is slightly curved with a flared end.
