DescriptionNotebook of sketches and calculations by Bob Miller (later Ben Lexcen).
This notebook was used by Bob Miller when he was in Newcastle during the 1950s for his mathematics exercises. Most of the pages with mathematics have been torn away, with only six pages remaining. The last of these pages has the teacher's comments in red pencil reading: '42/100 Very Poor'. The rest of the notebook comprises lead pencil sketches of cars, motorbikes, sailboats, keels and air force jets.
