HistoryMavis Warrngilna Ganambarr was born at Matamata Homeland in North East Arnhem Land and now lives on Galiwin'ku (Elcho Island). After being taught fibre art at the age of 19, Mavis has spent years experimenting and creating new styles of weaving and wearable art.
