DescriptionThese three log books from merchant ships were collected by Alan Rice whilst serving as a merchant seaman in the Australian coastal trade. They include one log book from the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand Limited vessel TSMV KOOTARA (1962 - 1963); one log book from the BP Tanker Company Limited vessel SS BRITISH TRADER (1965 - 1966) and one log book of SD PIONEER (1965).
