The series consists of five postcards featuring images of the vessels RMS QUEEN MARY, QSMV DOMINION MONARCH, RMS ORCADES, TSS OCEAN MONARCH and RMS EDINBURGH CASTLE; one Orient Line Plan of the SS ORFORD; five negative strips containing images of vessels; three photographs of VENTURA, SS WENDOUREE and SS WERRIBEE; two envelopes; one note; one Port Jackson Steamboat Company document; eight articles on shipbuilding, ship repair and services, famous liners and vessels; and 11 newspaper clippings on royal yachts, old vessels, Cunard Line, Sydney ferries, and a number of vessels. The documents span the period c 1910 - 1968.
