DescriptionCopy of typewritten notes on the decorations of dining saloon, staircase, lounge and smokeroom of SS KAROOLA, No. 404., Begins 'Dining saloon. Line the four walls with austrian oak panalling, dull polished, to drawings and plans..' and concludes 'provide railing round staircase well as shown on drawing. These to be painted when finished. Note. A band to be placed round columns and attached to handrails for strengtheniing same'.
