DescriptionLetter from Oskar Speck to the German consulate typed in German, attached to another full page typed letter. First page dated 31 January 1939. Oskar's letter is a clarification regarding the attached letter. They are in relation to the Dutch Indian government allowing Speck to travel the northern route around New Guinea. The copy of the letter written by the consulate general attached states the consulate will provide assistance other than trying to obtain permission for Oskar to travel the southern route.
