The letter is dated August 25, no year (probably 1937 with reference to Oskar at Tanimbar); handwritten notes on verso of the last page. Letter begins "This note may miss you at Tanimbar as I have left it rather late in writing but if it does, they will probably forward it on. I got your notes from Capt. Schmidt, and was able to make quite a nice little article out of them, for which some, thanks a lot..." and notes details of author's voyage around Timor region.
