DescriptionThis archive series numbered [001] - [021] consists of material compiled by the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron once under consideration by sailing journalist Lou d'Alpuget for use in his book 'Yachting in Australia'. It includes 16 photographs depicting James and Arthur Milson, Sir James Fairfax, and yachts SUNBEAM, SASKIA, WHITE WINGS, MISTRAL, ISEA, IOLANTHA, MAGIC, ERA; four transparencies of VALLIENT and INTREPID, and a letter from d'Alpuget to the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron archivist.
