DescriptionThis photograph album contains 35 photographs collected by Bill Mooney between 1914 and 1923. The photographs depict images of motor boating on the Murray River between Echuca and Swan Hill using a Waterman Marine Company outboard motor imported from New York. The images depict river steamers, tents and camp sites, horse drawn wagons, sheep, Torrumbarry Lock, irrigation channels fishermen and boats, river turtles, school and boarding houses, an old pumping plant at Cohuna Headworks, engine hauling logs, wharf and station at Koondrook, Barham-Koondrook Bridge, Murray River tributary, a punt, meal time, and the 490 Mile Tree.
