DescriptionA black and white photograph of an agricultural scene titled 'Freestone CK Nr Warwick'. HistoryFreestone is approximately 130 kilometres south west of Brisbane and close to the regional centre of Warwick. It was first farmed in the late 1800's and over the years, the crops in the district have changed and diversified.SignificanceThis image is a part of the Captain Robert McKilliam collection. Captain McKilliam worked for the Aberdeen White Star Line for 32 years and sailed aboard such famous clipper ships as SALAMIS and THERMOPYLAE. He moved to Sydney in 1913 where he served as Assistant Wharf Master on Darling Island.
