BiographyNew York shipping line in operation from 1853 and then well into the 1860s. It's first agents were Earle & Weed including merchant John I. Earle who later appears to have become the sole proprietor of the line. The clippers of his line included : FLYING CLOUD, MASTIFF, CONTEST and later WILD ROVER and MORNING STAR.
