Fred Halliday1883 - 1911

Halliday was the Third Engineer on the SS DALMORE on a voyage to Australia between August 1907 and March 1908.

Halliday married Edwina Webster in 1911 and soon after, left on a voyage to India where he contracted tuberculosis. He was returning to England in the ship's hospital on the SS MALWA when on the 2nd February he died and was buried at sea off the coast from Marseilles, France. He was 28 years old.
