Geoffrey Rawson

Geoffrey Rawson was the son of the former Governor of New South Wales and Royal Navy Officer Admiral Sir Harry Holdsworth Rawson (1843-1910). Educated in England and Australia, Geoffrey remained in Australia after his father retired to England in 1909, taking up work as a journalist and author. He is remembered for his work on Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's biography along with his publication on Matthew Flinders.
