Isaac Robert Cruikshank

Isaac Robert Cruikshank was a British miniature painter, draughtsman and caricature etcher. Cruikshank served in the Merchant Navy before he became an artist, known for his political and social satires. His work often questioned leading social figures, political policies, social problems such as alcoholism, convict transportation and immigration to the colonies.
