Henry (Harry) Dangar

Active 1930-1960

Henry Vincent Dangar, was born in 1895, and during the Great War he served in the Royal Horse Artillery. At the end of the war he saw further service with his regiment in India- After his discharge Henry, usually called Harry (not to be confused with Harry Dangar 1831-1861) painted water colours, mainly still life and of the Dangar family properties including Turee.

He married Elizabeth Leeuwln Hlckson on April 23, 1936 at the All Saints Church in Singleton, New South Wales.
