BiographyCharles Warusam has worked as a pearl diver and troches fisherman but because of an injury he is unable to do such strenuous work. Instead he supplements his pension with carving. He is now considered one of the best carvers on Saibai Island. He was given permission to produce these costumes by the Waia Family who own the dance.
