Her works have been shown in several exhibitions including ‘Cultural Forms’, University Gallery, University of Tasmania, Launceston (1997); ‘Taking our Place’, University Gallery, Launceston & Burnie Regional Gallery, Burnie (2001); ‘Fibre Culture’, Ten Days on the Island Festival, Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, Launceston (2003) and ‘Woollily: Continuing a Living Culture’, Carnegie Gallery, Hobart (2003). Summers was the project curator for the National Gallery of Australia’s touring exhibition “Keeping Culture: Aboriginal Art to Keeping Places and Cultural Centres” exhibition (2000) and has also worked as a Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer at Launceston General Hospital.
