Samuel Fallours was an artist born in England and working in Ambon in the Malay Archipelago with the Dutch East India Company (VOC) trading company. He flourished around 1703-1720.

Fallours began his career as a soldier with the VOC sailing to Ambon in April 1703. His artistic abilities were clearly noted by various prominent VOC officials who helped him to gain commissions for drawings. Fallours left Batavia in 1712.
