BiographyArthur Lederer, Jewish tailor bought into Franz Schlaf's Sohn tailors in Vienna in 1921 (by appointment to the Emperor since 1908). Married Valerie in the 1920s and had a son Walter. The family escaped Vienna to Prague on 9 November 1938, after six months in Prague they made their way to Australia. Arthur died in 1942 when his son was 19 years old. Walter married Jean Roberts in 1952. Valerie Lederer died in 1967.
