DescriptionIn October 1948 Czech Alex Nypl obtained a visa to travel Australia. He was interviewed for the visa at Lugwigsburg displaced persons camp. In November of that year, he and other migrants from the camp sent by train to Genoa to board the SS PROTEA for Australia.
