DescriptionA jack plane, which is a standard pattern plane offered by practically every plane supplier. These planes were used for rapid removal of excess stock and for general rough work. This particular plane has a wooden handle to drive, and an attachment at the front where a knob (now missing) would have sat. The chisel blade is attached at a 45 degree angle by use of a screw which is adjustable. The top of the handle is broken, the missing piece is object number 00053711.
